The design of a product is always important - the issue with designing the look of a physical product, however, is that every design iteration, every new idea requires the product to be manufactured in real life. For this client, I created physical models of the product and set them up so that designs could be manipulated on the surface of the virtual product. Iterations of the designs, therefore, took no more than the 3 or 4 minutes it takes to render the product, rather than the days of waiting for a product prototype to arrive.
I delivered a few product images in the style above, as well as the unwrapped, high-resolution label design to printed on the real-life cans. All images were delivered in high resolution, in JPG and PNG formats.
