For the Smttn Connections project, as well as creating a new logo, I was asked to create several billboard-style advertisements to show off as part of a marketing package for the new brand. After discussions with the client’s sales team, we agreed on the style and content of the designs.
While retaining the modern aesthetic, everyone felt that a more traditional and familiar feel was required for the roadside adverts. The decision reached was to create a set of minimalist, 2 colour billboard designs, created so as to resemble traditional, familiar books.
All artwork was provided in JPG and PNG as well as exported to Adobe InDesign to prepare for print. The Adobe InDesign files were provided, as were PDFs of each design, to allow for easy printing on a smaller scale.
